Liked: Good location, very close to the bus station and the centre. Also linked to the tour company that do the 4.30 am volcano ascent, which is awesome!

Disliked: No breakfast. Also, quite noisy at night if your room is right by the common area like ours was!

Liked: They had a good tour oporator that ran along side the buisness and laundry service near.

Disliked: When we arived the place was filthy dirty, used toilet paper all over the bathroom. It was very dark in the comunal areas and they kitchen needs a very good clean, there where sausepans of cooked food left on the side for three days and to finish our stay there was a Rat in our room.

Liked: Warm common area, always a log fire burning away to make sure the evenings were cosy. The tour operator shop next door is good value for money.

Disliked: Is not 24 hour check in, staff speak no English except for one of them, who can never be found. Rooms are very dark, the whole place lacked any atmosphere. Visited friends at Etnico Eco Hostel and at El Refugio and both were far far nicer for only a little bit more money.

Liked: Location. Right next to the bus station we used. Poele esp Nico was ery thoughtful for people and their comfort. People around easy to chat with.. Also when most book out at 10am and leave on a bus at 7+8pm they let you cruise even to having a shower which is agreat idea others could pick up.

Disliked: Rooms are dark stained wood and although the fluro light bulbs are good for the environment they are near useless and seem to absorb more light than they give out.- Beds are a bit flimsy for solid people. but the lighting is the main problem.

Liked: The staff are all very helpful. The attached tour company is great giving you discounts on the tours they run. Claudio is very good knows the area really well. The 4.30am trip up the Volcano Villarrica is excellent value you are the first group on the volcano.

Disliked: Bit hard to work out the entrance, which is through the owners front door, but once in no problems

Liked: the location is very good, one min from the terminal and they also offers u the main activities of pucon

Disliked: no wifi and no breakfast!! ( the wi fi didn't work, seems like nobody cares to fix it, at least they give u the password and let u try for hours until u understand that something is wrong!) only one computer to all the people that most of the time taken by the owner's daughter..!!

Liked: The volcano climb from the connected tourist office was great.

Disliked: We had a reservation but there were no rooms left! We were handed over to another nice guesthouse for a night, but it was a bit out of town so not ideal.

Liked: Good basic place to stay. Hot water all the time. Plenty of shared seating for having a chat in the evening. Lots of climbing pictures and equipment hanging about the place. Free internet and on a decent computer. Kitchen was a bit aged but cleaned very often so no problem.

Disliked: Walls are pretty thin and we heard a few noises from the communal table that one girl was pretty embarrassed about! Funny for us though!

Liked: lots of character, good kitchen and bathrooms and kitchen were always very clean.

Disliked: no breakfast provided, but there is a big supermarket 2 blocks away and lots of mini markets.

Liked: Claudio met us at bus station, and organised a trip to the volcano. Living room cosy with fire place, rest a little chilly but plenty of bedding so fine.

Disliked: Felt like the tour company was main priority, with hostel second. This worked out well for us, as we could organise activities.

Liked: Cosy living room area with nice fire but the bedrooms were quite cold! We had a private which was a decent size but very creaky bed. Thin walls so noise travelled. Decent kitchen, 2 cookers. Good location, 2 mins walk from the main street. Marcelo, the guy who worked there, really looked after us! The owner was very persistent about doing his tours and we found cheaper elsewhere (although he did come down in price after).

Liked: Comfy warm bed and a decent shower.. plus they let us have a shower whle waiting for our bus after the tour of the volcano. Great organisers of the volcano tour. Would recommend their guide.

Liked: Although we arrived and the booking had gone astray we were immediately made welcome and great beds found. Staff were all friendly and helpful. I just need to mention that we are older guests so would recommend this hostel for people who like a bit more fun

Liked: Friendly staff and lots of advice available on activities etc. Clean and safe, good location off the main strip but easy to get to all the main bars, restaurants etc. Lots of stray dogs kept us up at night, but that is not the fault of the hostel, we just got unlucky !!

Liked: Lovely hostel, really friendly and good laundry service. The guy working there was a backpacker from Uruguay who spoke great english, he was very helpful. Also, we got upgraded to a double ensuite at no extra cost because a big group were coming to stay in the main hostel. Right next to the bus station for all buses except the TUR, who are about 500 metres away.

Liked: It was a really lovely and friendly hostel, we loved our stay in Pucon! The lounge felt really cosy and the communal areas make it really easy to meet people. Shame there is no outdoor area to sit, but we thought it was a really good hostel, very clean, good location, and we could still use the facilities all day after check out, they were very flexible. Good that we had discounts on their travel agency as well. Walls very thin and rooms a bit cramped, but it was fine.
