About Hostal El Refugio
Bienvenidos to our Refugio, the Spanish word for mountain lodge. We (Lorena and Peter) invite you to spend a few days in our hostel where you will find a friendly and very homely atmosphere in a cozy environment.
Our beautiful wooden house is nice and warm with 3 great fireplaces (including an old stove to cook on) and gives you the feeling of being in the mountains, even though you are in the heart of Pucon.
You will find us easily on 540 Palguin Street in front of the Pullman bus terminal. Just a block from the main street and the JAC bus terminal.
We are fanatical hikers and can give you all the information about the best tracks in the area. Thanks to our guiding experience we can also tell you everything about Chilean and Mapuche culture.
The hostel also has a lovely garden where you can chill out under the cherry tree, lay down in one of our hammocks or enjoy a great Chilean wine by the campfire.
