Overview
Welcome to The Tree House Hostel. Here you will find all you need to know about the hostel, planning your trip and even redefining what you want to get out of your travels.
We provide innovative backpacker accommodation in Pucon, southern Chile, to travelers making their way through Chile and our neighboring countries. Regardless of budget, our safe and relaxing hostel has been specifically designed to optimize the meeting of like-minded travelers, the sharing of travel tales and the acquisition of unbiased advice.
All this can take place in a hammock in our garden, over coffee and a map in our information centre, or during a DVD and a beer in our relaxation area. Alternatively, we offer a chance to escape from your hectic traveling schedule by watching the sunset over the Villarrica volcano, alone or with friends, from our purpose built tree house.
Accommodation Information
About our rooms, all the descriptions on the booking page are correct, but just to avoid confusion please note that in our MELI room, (dorm - 4 beds - shared bathroom) the 4 beds are 2 bunkbeds. And also in our KAYU room (private twin - 2 beds - private bathroom) the 2 beds is 1 bunkbed.
We have comfortable hammocks in our garden, up-to-date maps and advice in our information centre, freshly brewed coffee and herbal teas and a choice of DVDs (and local brews) in our relaxation area.
So come along, relax in our inspiring garden, refresh your body, mind and aching feet and redefine your free time by taking advantage of our ideas, links and local and international programmes.
Location Information
Pucon is the adventure tourism capital of Chile and offers a wealth of activities. Try an ascent of the Villarrica volcano, white water rafting on the Trancura river, canopy rides over the native forests, hiking and camping in the Huerquehue National Park, water sports on the fresh water lake, lazing in the many outdoor hot springs, or pure relaxation on the volcanic beach. We are happy to arrange all of this and more for you in advance of your arrival.
