Liked: After the double booking of our room and the prices been almost double what was advertised I really didn't want to like this place - however, the building is really cosy, there is never a lot of people there so cooking etc is really easy, the location is really good and best of all there were 5 little newborn puppies at the house! I would reccomend this to couples, especialy if you can get the ensuite double for $22 which is awesome value.

Disliked: Issues with pricing, plus the womans mood swings can be a little off putting, and she also forgets things like how much has already been paid and the fact that you have booked extra nights when you only confirmed with her the day before. Also just a note to say that zero English is spoken by either her or her son so make sure you know some spanish or have a translator!

Liked: We had a lot of space to ourselves.

Disliked: The wifi did not work. The lady who runs the hostel was not very helpful. We were told prices were different and that they had now gone up.

Liked: the place was beautiful. it was like our own little cabin and we were lucky enough to be the only ones staying there. like most people said, it isnt a place to meet people but if you go with friends it isn't really necessary.

Liked: It was cheap, very cosy with a nice stove. I'd love to come back in the summer time with a big crowd, as I went off season. But a nice relaxed place to stay... owners next door and pop in every so often to stoke up the stove, nice people. Kind of halfway between a cabin and a hostel!

Liked: Brilliant! Lovely clean rooms, spotless and great kitchen. Excellent location (5mins to centre in one direction and to the lake in the other). What more could you want!?

Liked: The room we stayed in was separate from the main hostel and was brand new so very clean with nice kitchen, however not a good place to meet people. We were here for 4 nights and the internet didnt work the whole time. If you want somewhere cute and private request the cabana
