Liked: Amazing property- beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The owners are kind and welcoming, and willing to help out with whatever you need.

Disliked: The lockers in the room didn't really work, and the location is on the outskirts of the main town and a 15 minute bike ride away from punta de lobos.

Liked: Beautiful building. They do have a great communal space for sitting and the nicest dog, Manu, in all of South America. And the best breakfast buffet I've had in a hostel to date.

Disliked: during the time we were there the bikes with surf racks were broken so we had to wait for shared taxis every time we wanted to go to the beach or town. Also a water heater problem meant loud pouring/dripping water noise that kept us awake at night and early morning. Wifi wasn't strong enough to be used in the shared dorm I was staying in. Location is good but is half way between the nearest shops and the main surfing beach Punta de Lobos. Closer to one or the other would have been better for me.

Liked: Best hostel that we have stayed at in South America. The breakfast is amazing and so is the hostel, beautiful

Disliked: Location was outside of the town (30 min walk into centre) but on the other hand it was closer to the main surf break (punta de lobo).

Liked: "The best place I've stayed in South America yet. It's clean, modern and spacious with a chilled out atmosphere, with sea views and only a short walk to the beach. I highly recommend staying here as the hospitality is second to none and the food is delicious. It also helps that the owner has cute brothers, so a bit of eye candy for the girls."Chanel and Cat (London, England)

Liked: A really nice familly run business in which everyone made you feel welcome. The food was excellent and the waves were great. Rental boards on offer ranged from beginners foam boards to semi-guns perfect for the smaller days at punta de lobos! Nice chilled vibe for relaxation during the day.Keep up the good work guys

Liked: The owners and the brother of owner ismal were very friendly and helpfull.the place is amazing and they have the best breakfast ever!This is a place not anough travellers know about! weather u are in to surfing or not ,its a great place to be ,i just wish i could of stayed longer! Great surf lessons from ismal! Epic place!

Liked: The Natural Surf Guest House is beautifully designed using natural local materials. Their rooms are comfortable and spacious. The hosts, Martin & Romy are friendly and have an excellent knowledge of the local surf scene - and Romy's cheffing (cooking) is amazing. I would recommend any surfer or any traveller make a stop in at their lodge.

Liked: Martin and Romi were wonderful hosts and the lodge was spectacular. Very helpful local surf knowledge and great location with beautiful ocean views. The breakfast, especially the fresh muffins, was the best I´ve encountered in my travels. I´ve honestly stayed at classy hotels that cannot compare to Natural Surf Lodge! Thanks again guys.

Liked: This is a newly built luxury hostel also with en-suite rooms. Run by a very hard working friendly couple. Very under sold in the description, particularly the location. Run by a local surfer and within walking distance of the main surf spot in the region. The only hostel in the town with the facility to cook food, watch TV and relax. Beach is one minute walk and the sunset can be viewed disappearing beneath waves from the dinning room tables.Certainly setup for surfers with outside shower and storage, it would also be a great place for couples and families to base themselves. Outdoor dinning and BBQ area compliments the eco-house interior.English speaking hosts are extremely helpful and cook restaurant quality evening meals at the weekend.I walked to the town centre a couple of times. It is quite run down but has some average restaurants and other useful facilities. A walk of 2-3 miles but beautiful due to the route along the beach.Highly recommended.
