Liked: The hostel is very clean and the staff was very enthusiastic. That is the best part of the facility. Unfortunately, the enthusiasitic and really nice staff seemed completely overwhelmed and not up to the task of running the hostel. They ran out of bread for breakfast, our laundry took over 24 hours, we didn´t get it all back without searching, there was no hot water (it wasn´t turned on) and more. I would look for somewhere else before booking this place again.

Liked: Very poor hostel design, no privacy, unreliable hot water, wireless did not work, single computer available was incredibly slow: took about an hour to write a three paragraph email because word processing was so slow. All bathrooms in downstairs, shared room area had large glass windows with no curtains. Staff tried their best but were understaffed and not very knowledgable.

Liked: This place was not professional, did not accept credit cards as it stated, and did not have a reservation when we arrived. They also said all the museums were closed, including the only one with an artifact from easter island. We found out that this was not the case. This hostel is a poor examply of an HI hostel.

Liked: pro- friendly staff [gave us a heater for our room] con's-room smelt damp, takes a long time for front door to be answered.. bit of a pain if your waiting with heavy backpacks or at night by yourself.. also if arrive off a very long overnight bus and just want to sleep dont expect to get any before 12pm

Liked: The hostel wasnt bad but it did seem slightly overpriced for the cleanliness of the place. The staff were friendly and the TV room and the wi fi was good. The internet on their computer on the other hand was really slow. It seemed like a good place to meet people and the upstairs outdoor space was great.

Liked: there is a very special atmosphere and the staff is very friendly - they make you feel home! it is definitely clean, very colorful and the sign outside above the door is original - it's really cool! there are poems on the walls and they have a wonderful artistic flair. In the evening there are often theme nights and they bring everyone together. guests and staff are like one big family!

Liked: Cheap enough place to crash in an otherwise expensive place. Staff are very friendly and eager to help but unfortunatly are very disorganised and can take a while to get things done.

Liked: This is a brand new hostel (still slightly under construction) - the rooms are basic but spacious and spotless and the bathrooms are newly fitted with plenty of hot water. Although the hostel is slightly unorganised at present, the staff are extremely friendly and couldnt be more helpful. In my opinion this will be a very good hostel once fully up and running in a few months.
