Liked: Very friendly welcome, relaxed family atmosphere, nice breakfast. Marcelo is an excellent guide to the island, knowledgeable and patient.

Disliked: Nothing really, it is fairly simple but doesn't pretend otherwise. Don't expect an air conditioned American marble palace!

Liked: Nice place with lot of atmosphere, right in the middle of what happens in town. Still very privat and quiet. Friendly staff who helped arrange whatever tour you liked. Excellent breakfast.

Disliked: Their card reader didnt work, so you had to go into town to find an ATM where you could get out that amount of cash, to pay the hotel in cash.

Disliked: Nothing but the exorbitant high prices of accommodation on Easter Island, so the "average" for "value for money" is only in comparison with other Easter-Island-Hotels!

Liked: It was clean, spacy and breakfast was good. Easy to ask questions to the host, and the place had a good location. The rooms had a fridge - very good since a lot on the island is expensive, and then you can buy drinks etc at the supermarket. Quiet.

Disliked: Would have been nice with internet-acess also in the room, not only in the restaurant.

Liked: The location is great! The owner is friendly & helpful. We have take place in the hostel 2 nights. It is clean & create a warm family style. They have arrange an airport pick up service. We have join their tour, it is flexible & well take care of us seems like a family picnic. When I leave the Easter Island at the evening flight, I can have a late check out and take rest until 7pm.

Liked: Great room and fantastic breakfast including eggs. Very friendly & helpful owner. Only issue was that the shower was cold but this seems to be common at a lot of places we've stayed at in South America.

Liked: We liked everything about Kaimana Inn, is a quiet place to stay, in the very center of the village. The owners are really nice and helpful, room is big, everything's clean and tidy, breakfast is really good. We really recommend it!

Liked: I chose the Kaimana Inn because of a combination of price and ratings. I wasn't disappointed. Kaimana was everything it promoted itself to be, at a price (for Easter Island) that was exceptional value. Marcello, the manager, goes out of his way to make sure his guests are happy and well taken care of. He also runs excellent tours of the island which are great value. The Inn is right in the middle of Hangaroa, the only real town on the island. It's location is perfect - just a short walk from everything. The restaurant was also excellent.I hghly recommend Kaimana Inn for anybody looking for quality care at reasonable prices; you can certainly pay more on Easter Island, but I don't think that you'll gain much that Marcello doesn't already offer.

Liked: This is THE BEST place to meet and see the island. Marcello and his family and staff are so nice and easy to be with. Is is a small place with tons of wonderful atmosphere, great breakfast, and unbelievable dinner show. They offer full island tours connections for cars, moto's and cycles. Full of knowledge about the island and a great place to meet others that love to travel. A bargain price for the island as well. They also have a kitchen that you can use. Wonderful area to unwind or wind up. We absolutely recommend that you try them out. No worries, great value.

Liked: Everyone at Kaimana Inn was so very friendly and helpful. From the pick-up at the airport, the terrific breakfasts and the ability to give info and organize tours, everything was great. Very comfortable rooms and a nice patio to sit and talk with other travelers. I would definitely recommend this place.

Liked: We are 3 friends from Romania.I will write this rewiew in 2 languages so that everybody can understand it !Kaymana Inn is a great hostel - I don't know why they call it a hostel because it-s a real hotel : big rooms, fridge and fan, good and new matresses and pillows ,private bathroom, they clean in the room everyday and they change the towels.You have also access to an outdoor kitchen fully equiped.On top of all you get a nice owner, named Marcelo, who is being kind to you because this is his nature, not because he wants to take your money.We have 5 great nights , and 6 great days in Easter Island ! thank you Marcelo.Kaymana Inn es un maravilloso hostal - no se porque se llama Hostal porque tiene todas las facilidades de un Hotel : habitaciones grandes, colchones nuevos y confortables, bano privado, se limpian las habitaciones todo los dias y se cambian las toallas.Tambien puedes utilizar una cocina que es completamente equipada.Para mejorar todo ,tienes un dueno muy simpatico llamado Marcelo. Es muy amable porque asi es el, no porque quiere tomar tu dinero.Tuvimos 5 noches maravillosas y 6 dias espectaculares en isla de Pascuas!Gracias Marcelo.Eugen, Silvia and Cristi
