Liked: Good showers, the house has great character .There is a great breakfast . The owner let us hang out there whilst we waited for our night bus which was nice.

Liked: Christina was incredibly friendly and sweet. All the dorms are very spacious and there are only single beds - no bunks!

Disliked: Nobody working there spoke even a word of English and although I muddled through, there were occasions when I needed quite complicated information about transport and communication broke down completely. During my stay there were only two of us there, and we were in different dorms, but EVERY noise - voices. footsteps, even a cough - echoes through a huge old wooden building with high ceilings like this one. At busy time the noise level would be unbearable.

Liked: The building was beautiful, as soon as you walk in the door your blown away. Its a breath of fresh air after so many boxy dorm rooms to stay here. Our room was a 3 bed dorm, but was huge, with 3 single beds and lots of blankets. The staff were so friendly and walked us to the bus terminal when we left to ensure we got off safely.

Disliked: It gets cold, being so big and old. But there is a fire in the lounge to huddle around.

Liked: hostel in an interesting old house with great atmosphere and stuff's hospitalily. Nice surrounding at this town.

Liked: big old colonial style building run by a cool moody type, an experience to behold..wouldnt pass a structural test back in europe but full of character

Liked: Quiet location for a not-so-quiet city. Owner/operator is very helpful. If you need to hop the border from Chile I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. They even serve real cafe!
