The staff were really lovely. Im pretty sure it does have a party atmosphere, just in the high season.

I just wish I could have stayed longer. Awsome hostel, awsome staff. First time I was encouraged to write on the walls. Roberto, Silvana, Judy and los Gatos make this an amazing spot. Don't sleep on Dona Ines, sleep at Dona Ines!

This hostel was one of the best we have stayed in. The owner Roberto is awesome and the BBQs are great. Def recommend this hostel.

friendly staff; good, relaxed atmosphere; a bit too far from center but staff told us where to go in the area of the hostel for everything, so it was alright; only bad thing was we arrived early in the morning and couldn´t get a pickup from the bus station - everything else was really good, really friendly

although this is a place more for the younger set, my husband and I are in our 60's and enjoyed talking to everyone. We only stayed one night on our way to Lima, Peru. This hostel had a lot of actives for fun. Management could not have been nicer.

The friendliness and helpfulness of Roberto and his staff. Comfortable beds, clean, decent-size breakfast. The only slight downside is the distance from town but the collectivos are cheap and frequent.

Roberto, the owner of the hostel, is a very smarty and helpful guy who makes yourself like at home. Great place where to have good and long conversation plus meet other people. Very recomended!

The owner of the hostel was a great bloke doing anything he could to help you out. Showed us around the town and took us out at night showing us the best restaurants was the highlight of chile for us!

It was very relaxed and was a nice place to just hang out in. Roberto was incredibly kind when I was ill- coming with me to the doctors and making me soup and Jelly!!!

Really friendly helpful owner, lovely dorms the nicest I´ve stayed in, the only problem is it´s a little way out of town but taxis are cheap so on the whole a great place to stay

This hostel made my stay in Arica what it was. Roberto, the owner, doesnt treat his visitors like clients, but rather as friends. Not only does he provide any assistance required, but he goes beyond the call of duty. We partied every night with him, he hosted a fantastic barbecue, and everyone was pleased by the self service beer fridge. Oh and the unscheduled breakfast was fantastic.
