Great lounge downstairs. Having themes or activities per night is a nice feature for meeting people.

It was an excellent hostel. One of the best we have stayed in and we have stayed in quite a few now. We had a private room and it had a fridge in it which made it easy to store our food. It was close to everything we wanted to see. The room was comfortable and the showers were clean. The showers were also seperate so you didn't have lots of people in the bathroom at one time. The hostel has everything a hostel would need. I would really reccommend this hostel to anyone visiting victoria.

A fun clean place that was friendly and offered privacy and safety. Generally the best place I have stayed at that I have booked through this website. I would give Ocean Island 10 out of 10.

Really cool atmosphere overall... lots of good facilities: cheap internet, great bar, really good kitchen etc. Staff were nice too, all very clean - no bugs, and nice bathrooms!!

It is in a great location in a great little city and provided all of the basic things that we consider really important. They also provide all sorts of little extra services many other hostels don't. Nice staff, too! Everyone there seemed very chilled out, and it was a nice variety of people.
