Liked: Had a great feel. Staff was helpful and hd great location. Awesome amenities too.

Disliked: My room smelled like nasty sweaty dudes.

Liked: It was very clean. The pub downstairs was nice. The location was great. The staff was SUPER helpful.

Disliked: It was a bit chilly, but just bring long johns and slippers.

Liked: Lots of bathrooms available, never had to wait. Fridge and sink in room. Cheap breakfast.

Liked: Location, bar/food, spacious dorm rooms

Disliked: The iron access door for the dorm rooms. Yes it's for security but you can protect your customers without giving your property a feeling of 'being in jail'

Liked: This is the first time I stayed in a Hostel so it really is hard for me to compare!!!

Disliked: the rooms were so small, but maybe that is normal.

Liked: Location in Downtown, everthing is reachable by foot Beaver Bar in basement (meet new people every day - guaranteed) Amazingly friendly and helpful staff

Disliked: few showers, but for me that was fine, one just needs to wait a bit sometimes;-)

Disliked: No elevator,no soap and paper towels in the bathroom,very small room

Liked: As a girl, actually being able to stay in a mixed dorm without being 'upgraded' to a female dorm!

Disliked: The bathrooms need upgrading/cleaning!

Liked: Good location

Disliked: plastic matresses and the worst pollows that we have had in a year of travelling! Paper thin walls so all in all uncomfortable interupted sleep

Disliked: Plastic mattress, room was pretty small for 6 people, quite noisy with the traffic on Pandora Ave

Liked: Excellent value for money, good location, friendly and helpful staff. Good atmosphere, excellent wifi.

Disliked: One of the people staying there was an idiot mouthing off in the dining area and no staff seemed to mind too much, but that's not to do with the actual property.

Liked: close to downtown only a couple of blocks away. The building is a old and a little run down, plenty of stairs tho!There's a kitchen and cafe which sells cheap good food. Staff are helpful, they also booked a shuttle to the airport for us which was great. They also have a storage locker which was very handy.

Disliked: Stairs! Stayed on the top floor so had to lug my suitcase up the stairs. The room was cramped, stayed in a 6 bed female dorm which was too small.

Liked: Very clean rooms, linens, towels and bathrooms. The hostel is very friendly and has great extras like free internet, cheap cafe and restaurant. The staff are really helpful; in fact someone helped me take one big bag up to my room on the third floor and then carried another down to the locked storage area. The food is good and very cheap and there is a good sized kitchen where you can make your own meals if you want.

Disliked: The location right downtown is great but also means there is a fair amount of noise late into the night. The hostel does its best to keep down internal partying but they can't control street noise unfortunately.
