Ocean Island Inn | Backpackers | Suites is located in the heart of downtown Victoria, Canada. We're close to Chinatown, the Inner Harbour, Save-On-Foods Memorial Arena, public transit, theatres, shopping, bars, pubs, clubs, restaurants, Beacon Hill Park and the Empress Hotel.

We have affordable daily, weekly and monthly accommodations in all shapes and sizes to suit any budget, from 6-bed dorms and mini-private rooms to spacious hotel-style rooms with private bathrooms.

We have a large communal kitchen and dining area as well as an in-house licensed Cafe Lounge serving delicious pasta, curries, burgers, paninis and fresh salads at ridiculously cheap prices.

Accommodation Information

We have a wide range of accommodation, from dorm beds to deluxe private rooms with ensuite bathrooms.
All rooms except the Deluxe Double (which has an ensuite bathroom) have shared bathrooms. There are 6 shared bathrooms per floor (23 bathrooms total).
Bed sheets and linens are provided, towels provided for a small deposit.
All rooms have fridges, some storage (either a locker, a closet or some shelves), and 24-hour security.
