Liked: It was clean and safe (the area as well)

Disliked: We didn't expect it to actually be out of vancouver itself - that's why our GPS couldn't locate the address. If you have a car it's close enough, if not there's a convinient bus but it does take a while to travel the distance.

Liked: Very clean, quiet, and safe, as described. Manager was very nice and personally made us a great breakfast. Parking outside was free and extremely easy.

Disliked: For the price, everything was very satisfactory. I would expect to pay more for a better location, or more nicely decorated rooms.

Disliked: It's 45 minutes on a bus into downtown. Bus connection is good - cheap on weekends but costs more in week.

Liked: The owners are very friendly and the breakfast is delicious, but it is a bit far away from downtown, but therefore if you are there with own car than it is easy to park there!

Liked: It is a nice place with clean, comfortable rooms and a very relaxed 'at home' atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and helpful, we were made to feel at home and were treated like friends. It is in a very quiet area a 30 minute bus ride to the town centre, but it is safe and buses are frequent, reasonably priced and easy to use as everyone speaks English!!.

Liked: The couple who run this hostel go out of their way to make you feel at home. Im a seasoned traveller and haven't quite experienced anything quite like it before. Like other reviews, its all about the breakfast.. Use of internet is invaluable and a high speed connection here. The only downside is that the bus takes 35minutes off peak to get downtown, but on the whole you see an interesting bunch of locals on their, so I wouldn't let that put you off..

Liked: owners are very welcoming and helpful; Breakfast is exceptionally great and the place is fairly cost effective. Bus #135 takes you to Burrard street in downtown in 20 minutes.
