Liked: very friendly, most accommodating, kind owners; accessible to bus transportation; good food; excellent coffee; very peaceful neighborhood; clean, big bedrooms and Comfort room. My rating is actually EXCELLENT for LIttle Retreat B & B !

Liked: The best canadian breakfast ever!!!! Location is quite far from city centre; very nice and friendly owners; again: very good breakfast!!!! definitely worth the money; clean and safe; avoid hastings & main street in the night if you arrive by greyhound bus - better take a taxi although it might be expensive

Liked: Hosts were wonderful and very engaging. Instead of squeezing in some more touristy pursuits on my last morning, I spent it chatting with Laurette and Gary and some of the other guests and really enjoyed it. I would definitely go back there even though it is a bit further out! One bus takes you to downtown, very simple.

Liked: The staff were very friendly and made a great/healthy breakfast. I also liked having a nice sized room with a double bed since I always travel with girlfriend. It is often difficult to find a place able to accomodate a couple at a reasonable price, this place definately met the bill. One mild warning, the hostel is located about 30 minutes from downtown by bus, so if you are looking for a place that is in walking distance to all the sites you will be unsatisfied. However, it is on a main bus line that runs almost all night (4:00 AM and I think resumes service at 6:00 AM), which we found very convienent for our nightlife activities.
