Liked: It's nice and quiet, and I got a room for myself.

Disliked: It's not a hostel, it's a rather depressing house that rents out rooms. It's far away, after 15min skytrain you still have to walk 12min from the train station. It costs you 5 bucks for a return ticket downtown. Considering the location it should be way cheaper. I stumbled upon C&N Backpackers downtown, which was a very cosy place, right in the middle of town, and their dorm rooms were 17 bucks a night, actually cheaper than this place! So if you add the 5-dollars a day you need to pay for the ticket, I would definitely not recommend to stay here.

Liked: For travellers like me who are in tight budget, this place is excellent to stay. The staff are amazing. I was surprised when staff from the hostel called me prior to my check-in time and offer a ride from the Metrotown train station. It was raining so bad that time and so I was very happy for the ride. Washroom was a bit old and needs repair. But over all, it was a great experience. Keep it up!

Liked: it is a big house, and very close to the mall and shops. Roommates here are very friendly. It is good for people who are having working holiday visa since the rent is the lowest in all the hostel, and the place is quiet and clean. You can concentrate on looking for the jobs, and longer term stay.

Disliked: no breakfast

Liked: people are so warm, and friend. I met a lot of new friend. A big house, and the room is clean, Airport pick up service provided.

Disliked: It is not right in downtown. I need to take skytrain about 15min.

Liked: It i really quiet so you can sleep many hours as you want there is no noise around.

Disliked: it is really to far from downtown, it is zone two for sky train so more expensive o get there.10 minutes walk from the train station.no reception and paper toilette controled and restreint.

Liked: Great and relaxed atmosphere, no bunks, dorms clean and comfortable and not too crowded, and really good showers.

Disliked: No breakfast, if I really must pick on something. And no reception, you need to organise your arrival time well before coming, or ring them.

Liked: We arrived at 1:20am and they sorted our accomodation and late arrival out

Disliked: The room was not clean, spiders dead and alive in all corners of the room! Beds felt damp, and duvets unclean. If you've got little money and are on a budget it's fine! If you've got any sort of spare cash spend it wisely and go to HI on granville St. Also we could only pay cash which wasn't made clear to us on booking

Liked: We met many Friendly Taiwanese.And a nice Chinese man. It's a silence place and safty.( a residential area)

Disliked: No washer and dryer there.House is old,and uncomfortable bathroom .(I thnk it need to rebuild.) Only offer a toilet paper roll.It's not a hostel.

Liked: Close to Skytrain and very quiet. Had a choice of two properties run by same people. Host even picked us up from the skytrain station for free and was very helpful with information on how to get around and where/where not to go. We also had to have our camera sent to this location as we left it behind at our previous lodging. They were happy to have us come pick it up even though we'd left a week or so before.

Disliked: No lounge area.

Disliked: House desparately needs repairs! Doors/walls very thin - door slamming was annoying and woke me up at night

Liked: The price. The staff is nice (when there is a staff).

Disliked: No soap in the bathroom. Only one toilet paper roll, after you have to pay your own (and so, you have to care about your roll). They ask you to call when you arrive : this is really not convenient (they didn't answer my calls). I was lucky, there was some guest there when I arrived, and then they call the staff,otherwise I could wait a lot !
