Liked: The location on McKay Ave was smaller and quite. Its about 5min to the Metrotown Skytrain station. Carol and Max, who run the place were awesome.

Disliked: The curtains are a bit thin so you wake up early - but you get used to it.

Liked: Its a very nice, quiet and clean place!The area is very close to the next Sky-train station yand there are a lot of facilities for buying food etc. very close to the hostel.Carol and Max are wonderful!!! They are always reachable via e-mail and phone and offer all kinds of help to the guests. I just can recommend this place to Vancouver visitors, especially because of Carol and Max!

Liked: Located in Burnaby, very close to Metrotown Skytrain station which takes about 15 minutes to get into town. Close to local shopping mall so ideal for longer stays. Max and Carol are very friendly and extremely helpful. Good if you are looking to chill out and have a relaxed time.

Liked: Cheap and affordable place to stay in an expensive city. Facility and service adequate for the price paid and location isn't too bad either. Staff courteous and friendly for the most part and the atmosphere of the place is rather subtle for a hostel. Overall, I would recommend this place for travelers who are seeking down time from a hectic environment.

Disliked: No serious dislikes about the place worth scrutinizing, but if I had to mention a dislike it would be how dull the place can be at times, but the quality of your experience is determined by what you make of it, so keep that in mind.

Liked: I liked that it was very quiet, and quite near to the Skytrain which made it easy to get into town. Free internet too ;-)

Liked: The staff were very helpful and it is very close to the shopping mall and the skytrain. The building could do with a little renovation and needs proper beds. Mattresses on top of each other are not very comfortable.

Liked: It is a quiet place and it is close to the Metropolis at Metrotown shopping mall and skytrain, it is great.Something smelled there in the bathroom, it was not much cleaned.The bathroom share more than 8 people. It does not feel like a guest house, but more like an expensive share house.
