It was a great place to stay. Close to everything in Vancouver. We had a great view. We had amazing days. My boyfriend said that he wants to come back at our honeymoon because he loved everything.
The breakfastoffer is also great.
The staff ist so nice and if you need help there is everytime somebody there for you. It is such a friendly atmosphere after a few minutes you feel like home. Janine and Ken are really friendly and they take time to help you with every question (not only about the hostel) also about the city ect.
We really want to come back

Our hosts, Janine and Ken were very helpful and kind; always willing to provide us with information and were very knowledgable! After just a couple of days this place felt like home! Immaculately clean with fantastic 'make your own' breakfast facilities. We'll definitely be recommending it to friends and families and would strongly reccommend the Urban Hideaway to anyone looking for somewhere a little different to conventional hotels or hostels! Keep up the great work guys!

Janine & Ken were great hosts, always had time to answer queries. Fantastic DVD collection available for free. Only downsides were that the room a bit dark due to lack of natural sunlight and the pigeons outside the bedroom window kept us awake late at night and very early in the morning. The amount of seating space in the kitchen was also limited.

Very comfortable place to stay. Darling kitchen area to socialize and prepare a nice breakfast. Very, very clean, comfortable beds and covers, beautiful garden area to sit, read, relax, meditate or smoke. I was traveling alone and felt welcomed, and safe. enjoyed visitng with other travelers at breakfast and would very definitely stay at the Urban Hideaway if in Vancouver again and would for sure use hostelbookers again. Thanks for your help.

Being in the centre of Vancouver. Being welcomed by the owners who make you feel part of the household during your stay. The breakfast - a help yourself selection of cereals, bread, bacon, eggs, home made jams etc.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely suite. The location waas exceptional, right in the middle of downtown Vancouver. Nice guests to meet. Cosy atmosphere.
