Overview

Urban Hideaway is one of the only downtown homes to survive the 20th century and watch the city literally grow up around it.

Built in 1896 during the height of the Victorian era, the Hideaway is, uniquely, one of the only downtown homes to survive the 20th century and watch the city literally grow up around it.

Did we mention that we are the only house downtown amidst the Hi-Rises? Here, in the heart of the city, you are only steps away from just about anything you feel like doing, eating, shopping for, or seeing.

Free Breakfast:
We provide a fully stocked breakfast larder where you need to cook up your own Canadian Breakfast in our big gourmet kitchen (we keep it stocked with eggs, bacon, pancakes, hot & cold cereals, veggies, fruit, coffee, tea, etc)

Cancellation Policy:
We do not charge a cancellation fee if you let us know ahead of time. In the event that adequate 7day notice is not given, we reserve the right to charge your stay.

Check-in/Check-out
Our office is open from 8am-6pm; late check-ins must give us a call in advance. We are just a tiny house and so arrange our day around the arrival times of our guests.
Check out time is 11am, you are welcome to store your luggage in case your further travel plans are scheduled for later in the day.
