 You get a secure base in a great location and the staff are welcoming friendly and helpful

I thought it was funny that it was built to house visiting sailors. It was an old building with character.

The old history of this small hotel is still present in the atmosphere. If I was the owner I would emphasize this in choise of furniture and bed clothes. It could become a very attractive and unique hotel with just a little money and effort.

It's location is very good - on the cusp of uptown glossiness and chinatown cheapness. Hostel has character and the double room we had represents good value in the over-priced city.
