Liked: Great central location, with lots of great cheap places to eat. Cheap icehockey tickets are a bonus especially for solo travellers as the hostel group goes together and volunteer guide Ron gives a pre-match rundown of the rules.

Disliked: Very noisy, with partying on Granville St until the early hours of the morning (at least during the weekend) so had difficulty sleeping- try to get a room at the back if you can

Liked: The location was convenient, and the beds were very comfortable. Excellent tv.

Disliked: I was surprised to find that wifi was free, but those of us without laptops still have to pay to use the computers.

Liked: The bed was comfortable and warm enough... room clean and bathrooms clean enough.

Disliked: The entire decor is dark and depressing, dark blue carpets, mustard walls and black ceilings, its like being in a basement. The kitchen is small, no where near enough room for even half the residents. You pay to use the washing machine, you pay for the washing powder and the lift is tiny, smells funky and is incredibly sloooooooooow.

Liked: Good location in the city, although the actual street was a bit dodgy and I wouldn't have walked around on my own at night there. Free brekkie was a bonus and although our shared room was quite small (two bunk beds) it had a sink and ample space to store our bags.

Disliked: Only 4 private bathrooms per floor was was ok as they were regularly cleaned and there was usually one available - apart from at peak times! It was barely a problem in the general scheme of things.

Liked: Clean and spacious, central to everything.

Disliked: Doors can unlock in rooms from outside, though there are lockers to put valuables in. Quite expensive compared to other hostels.

Liked: This hostel was a fantastic place to stay for our visit to Vancouver. Convenient location, great food, amusing street entertainment, fantastic sightseeing, great staff and accomodations at the hostel, and reasonably priced to boot. Highly recommended.

Liked: Iocation was very good- on the bustling Granville st where there's always something going on:) clean, didn't have to wait many times to use the bathroom (which I was pleased to find in separate private cubicles) beds were comfy & loved the big lockers in the room. Oh and free brekkie was a def. Plus too! Happy with my stay :)

Disliked: The wireless kept dropping in and out though.

Liked: Parking was more expenise than I had expected. Other than that it was fine, a pretty normal hostel experience. If you like clubbing and the big night time scene this is a great place to stay. Also it's not too far to walk down to the water, but not the beach. Overall it was an alright place to stay.

Liked: The only thing I liked about this hostel was really the location and the breakfasts were pretty good as well. It's the first time where I thought it was not as welcoming as previous hostels.
