Liked: Always a plesure to stay at the hostel. Helpful staff and great breakfast! In the middle middle of Vancouver, the best club in town just across the street. Definitely best value for money in Vancouver.

Disliked: Not much to complain about.

Liked: The location is super perfect :).

Disliked: I lost my skibag in a "secured room". But HI-hostel was kind and are helping me to get the back home to Denmark.

Liked: The Continental breakfast was the best i have had yet in 4 months of traveling through Asia, Oz and New Zealand!

Disliked: The rooms were too cramped,could hardly get your backpacks plus 4 people in the 4-bed dorm. The women who was on the front desk when we arrived was the most miserable person i have had to deal with yet, didn't make eye contact and it was a chore for her to check us in, not forgetting how slow she was!

Liked: Good and nice lounge areas to meet people. Location was perfect,middle of everything and withingood connections to all places around Vancouver.

Disliked: The hostel was not the cleanest possible, but it didn't bother me.

Liked: I always felt safe and the breakfast was great. Free wireless and towels were a bonus. Always a hot shower available. Level 4 was the best as it was much quieter than the other floors.

Disliked: No amenities to cook, only a microwave. Common areas are fairly small and no one inter-acts with each other. Staff do not make it clear enough to guests that they must stay in the bed and use the locker allocated to them, i had to be moved from my first room as someone had their stuff on my bed which would be difficult to deal with if you are staying for a long time like i was. Staff member moved me instead of dealing with other guest.

Liked: This hostel is big but has a nice feel to it. Rooms are nice and very secure. They also have alot of things happening and plenty of tours.

Liked: Organised events - although did think there would be more on different days. Very good location. Selection of foods for breakfast made me very happy!

Disliked: Wasn't the friendliest of atmospheres in the hostel with things to do etc - but suppose that's the people more than the hostel itself!
