 Good bar

A free Beaver beer included in the price of a dorm bed bunk began my stay in this hostel. The bar downstairs was crowded but in that good way and drinks weren't too expensive. The food is blah. The location cannot be topped. It's right across the street from the HI hostel. Bars and clubs every which way. The hostel itself I didn't spend too much time in but it certainly is secure (you have type in the code on numerical keypads three -count it, THREE- times to get to your room. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Also has the normal common room areas, which seem to always be in use.

They have a bar downstairs and also a pool table and a selection of games and books to keep people entertained. Staff where friendly and it's easy to meet other people easily. They have shows and activities on offer most nights.

Beautifully decorated, easy going but also secure and safe. The staff were excellent (specially the barman!). I would definitely recommend Samesun Vancouver and would stay there again (and at any Samesun if their as good as it was!).
