Liked: The location was perfect and the place had a great feel to it. No problem traveling solo as it is so easy to meet people and you are never really alone!! I also felt very safe there.

Disliked: The internet was so slow and you couldn't always get a hot shower at night.

Disliked: I only stayed one night. =(

Liked: Good location, comfy beds that dont make alot of noise, and free wireless in rooms.

Disliked: This is a hostel, hostel type environment. Lack of hygiene and farting of fellow guests. Lack of hot water in the showers, Compared to European hostels it is expensive and needs some renovation.

Liked: location was good, and the place had it's own bar. great way to meet people.

Disliked: it was sooo hot in there! we had to run the fan 24/7! most of the travellers there were waiting to start their working visas. not many were "tourists" so it was a little harder at times to find peeps to do stuff with.

Liked: Right in the middle of everything! Definitely felt safe and everyone was really nice.

Disliked: Bummer that they even mentioned the "free breakfast" which was toast and jam...Seems like it could have been a little cheaper too but maybe I'm just too cheap :)

Liked: I liked that it was really in the centre of all the activity of the city, both daytime and night time. The location is close to all of the usual touristy sites also. Lots of common areas and activities.

Disliked: It's a very large property, so it's a little difficult to really meet people if you're travelling alone. Also, the bathrooms could have been cleaner.

Disliked: Okay, seriously - clean the damn place! With bleach, lysol, flamethrowers, a priest for good measure. Yikes.

Liked: Everyone was really nice, and as a first time hosteller I was nervous about staying in a potentially unsafe place - no need to worry! I met some great people from all over the world, and the location is only paralleled by Hostelling International Vancouver Central, which is across the street.

Disliked: Their dryer was broken when I got there, so they were out of towels. They had them by the next morning, though.

Liked: It's cheap but still clean, nice and fun!

Disliked: Since it was in downtown Vancouver on Granville street it was noisy all days long... It was hard to get to sleep before midnight or 1 am

Liked: good situated in the city, nice people, kind of "rocking"place, good organised

Disliked: maybe a chair in the room, more possibilities to hang things (wet towels...)...

Liked: very friendly staff, giving a good opportunity to meet people, placed on one of the main streets with many bars, clubs, etc. , very close to most of the Vancouver's sightseeings, shopping, etc.

Disliked: if you are looking for a calm place just to sleep, I wouldn't recommend this hostel (Granville street is very noisy at nights); rooms are very small so if they are fully occupied there is no place for luggage; lockers in the rooms are wooden and old and they don't look very "thief-proof"

Liked: really great. just the right mix of rundown with character, and secure and clean. great bar for meeting people, staff really helpful, especially when it came to finding something to do on a rainy day. :D

Liked: no problems with the place. You get a lot of ameanities for what you pay. Anytime internet, kicthen to use if and when you like and a lounge area to chill in anytime you want. Your not paying for a hotel.

Liked: Got bitten atleast 10 times by Bed bugs as did other people staying in the hostel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
