Liked: It was in an amazing location.

Disliked: It was very hot inside, as it felt as though the heaters were on, and all the windows were open and all the fans were on to try to keep it cooler.

Liked: The location, the bar, the crowd, pretty much everything. Much better vibe here than the HI, I can't stress that enough.

Disliked: Most of the staff seem like they can't be arsed to help, some are just rude. Do not let this put you off staying there, it's my favourite hostel in the world, but the staff need to cheer up a bit that's all!

Liked: Everything great location, staff environment...Travelling by myself meet amazing people.

Disliked: Rooms are a little small but hey ur not in them for long...Beds are creaky but secure...on top bunk and did not feel i would fall out...Overall def stay here again

Liked: The location is very convenient, change the code for the door everyday.

Disliked: Noisy, uncomfortable beds, tiny rooms. Hard to meet people, hangout areas weren't great.

Liked: Pretty sure I got attacked by (bed?) bugs whiles staying here. After a night of staying here, I hate bites all over the lower portion of my legs. I wear pants during the day and only shorts at night. This is a party hostel, so expect it to be very loud. Luckily, I travel with earplugs and could sleep well.

Disliked: Possible bed bugs.

Liked: Great place to socialise. Good fascilities in the common room, and fab bar.

Disliked: Wi-fi isn't the most reliable, and rooms are kinda small.

Liked: Location, staff, BAR ($2 to double your drink)

Disliked: Lighting's a bit dim, especially in the room. Otherwise quite a bare-essentials type of hostel

Liked: very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was a bonus.

Disliked: rooms were too hot as heating was on, and window would not stay open. toilets stink and the whole building is very old.

Liked: The resaurant and bar always had something going on, food and drinks specials.

Disliked: The rooms were tiny and some of the lockers didn't have doors on them.

Liked: Good location, right on Granville, really helpful and friendly staff, good price. Special weekly and monthly rates. Good breakfast, now includes delicious bagels too! Some of the lockers were broken, but they seem to get maintenance on this pretty qucikly. There's a hairdryer in each bathroom, which is amazing, and plenty of outlets in the rooms. Good trips, went curling, to see the Giants play hockey, and to an amazing exhibit at the gallery, surprised more people don't sign up for them, but if you're there then you certainly should!

Disliked: Quite loud at night at the weekend, but that's mainly outside, and a pair of earplugs should sort you out pretty quickly.

Liked: This hostel is by far the best I have stayed in here in Canada. The staff were friendly and helpful. The manager Pete went out of his way to ensure that everyone was happy. The rooms looked like they had been recently updated too.

Disliked: I loved it all. It is right on the busy Granville street though so if you are sensitive to noise the front desk provides earplugs.
