Liked: bar/restaurant downstairs always had cheap yummy food! great location, free breakfast in the morning was good and plentiful

Disliked: never had any quiet time but that's to be expected, was in a room facing Granville street which doesn't sleep ever apparently

Liked: Breakfast was good but the fresh fruit always ran out early. Really helpful staff always on desk.

Disliked: Rooms are quite small. Need bigger tables/common room as the small tables don't help you meet people.

Liked: in spite of the pub, the rooms are quiet

Disliked: the cleanliness should be better and also the safe and secure. Everyone can ask about the password.

Liked: Location is great, property is clean and tidy, the bar downstairs is a great addition and didn't create noticeable noise in the rooms, free breakfast is average but great to have it! All in all, a nice stay in a good property.

Disliked: pillow was crazy lumpy but bed was clean and comfortable, no complaints there. Bathrooms could have done with more showers but a small complaint really.

Liked: It's is ridiculously easy to meet people here! The bar downstairs is awesome, activities every night, good food, friendly staff. Easily one of my favourite hostels to date!

Liked: Excellent location if partying is your thing! It is also easy to get to all of the best places in downtown Vancouver if you so desire.

Disliked: Nothing. It does what is says on the tin.

Liked: Location is great. The Beaver, the bar that serves food as well on the ground floor was a really nice addition, even though Granville st is packed with eateries and bars/pubs. At the time of my stay there the hostel has been undergoing some refurbishing with new coats of paint and new carpet on the floors. This is a good thing as it shows the management reinvests the money on the property.

Disliked: Bathrooms were out of shape, not dirty really but really outdated.

Liked: Really fun, really nice people, good price.

Disliked: It was so loud at night! It was often hard to sleep, even after midnight, because of the bar downstairs.

Liked: Really good information for travellers. Great atmosphere down stairs around the bar

Disliked: No lift, no air con so room was boiling. Also washrooms are miles away from certain rooms

Disliked: The hostel is really noise! The rooms are so small and dirty! In our room actually was not possible to close the window and after I told that to reception staff, they just told me that they know that there is a problem with window, but they cannot fix it. Because of that I was freezing and I went from the hostel after just one day! Actually this hostel is nice place for people who just want fun and like being drunk...but definitely not for mature people who want to take a rest and feel themselves comfortable during staying in hostel. Security and cleanliness definitely are not the attributes of this hostel!

Liked: awesome bar, staff & various activities. location is perfect!

Disliked: beds were a bit too short (i'm 1,83 m) and no air condition in room.

Liked: Great location, easy to find and staff very knowledgable on how to get to attractions and other areas etc

Disliked: Depending where your room is, it can be very noisy as it's right in town - bring earplugs.
