Customer reviewThis hostel is very clean (bathrooms, rooms, kitchen). The two-person private room is very good value and it comes with a sink, mini fridge and tv. The location is close to chinatown/skytrain/science world, but not that great as there are some homeless people around the area. The hostel itself seems very safe. Free internet is nice too, although there is only 1 computer. Really friendly staff. |

Customer reviewVery helpful staff. However on the second floor, it was VERY hot and there wasn't a fan provided. So literally just baked in our room all night. We tried opening the window but were right next to the smokers deck outside that with an open window came lots of fumes. But the room was very nice. I would recommend this hostel, but perhaps also recommend you bring a way to stay cool, if visiting in the summer. |

Customer reviewthe hostel was great, inexpensive, super central location, friendly helpful staff, clean, fun nice cozy atmosphere. As a single female traveler I felt secure and got in touch with other cool people. the best: everything is in walking distance- from ocean to Museums to night life. Main street is definitely the insider tip with all the alternative designer fashion stores and artists and antique stores, hostel and Main street are highly recommendable |

julia MartynThe location is great if you're arriving by bus or train. It's only about a 15 minute walk to the main shopping/downtown area. the area isn't the nicest, but i felt comfortable (I'm 23 & female & travelling alone). I wouldn't suggest walking home alone late at night after partying/clubbing etc (but that sort of applies anywhere!). The bus stop for downtown and stanley park is right across the street. The hostel itself is really cozy and sweet. the staff is SUPER helpful and the water is HOT! Loads of maps, and info aswell. |
