for the first time in my many stays, the bathroom on my floor was neglected completely for almost a week- not a good clean up even after my complaint to the front desk- disappointing.....hope things improve for my first stay next year!

The place is real tresure for value-money comparing to other Toronto's places. This city is the most difficult place i have ever visited to find a housing. it is not explained on their site, that they close on 27th august ! The only nasty surprise was a mouse running in my direction on their 22 floor lounge (the only spot to catch a wifi). And couches in this same lounge did not inspire too much trust after the mouse happening... :) But, if you don't stuck too long with wifi, it is a great place to stay in Toronto to save some money

Very good value and the included breakfast was a bonus. One of the only hostels in Toronto with private rooms. Extremely friendly and willing staff. Rooms were a little 'sparse', and hot in the humid weather, but overall a decent hostel. Tip: the 'College' subway stop is far less crowded, and a downhill walk, than the 'Dundas' stop.

Well located fairly close to all the main tourist attractions. Good breakfast. Rooms & bathrooms are small and simple but all in all this hostel's very good value for the money.

Very close to downtown, Dundas and Yonge St. Breakfast was also very reasonable, given it is included in the price. Rooms are spartan but functional. There are kitchens in every hall as well if you really need to budget. I also liked the additional promotions to local sites and daily information about festivals and food fairs. I guess what I don't like is that there were prostitutes roaming Gerrard St where the property is located, but what are you gonna do.

I stay at least three or four times each summer and I find the location excellent as far as being close to downtown and the TTC facilities. I also appreciate being able to come and go at any and all hours without hassle and not disturbing other guests. Oh! and the breakfasts clinch the deal!!!!

The rooms are much smaller than your typical college dorm room and the beds were uncomfortable. You get exactly what you pay for: a room with a bed, linens, and a small breakfast. That being said, if you're trying to travel cheaply and want to stay in a place in an excellent location where you feel that you and your belongings are safe and secure, this is a great place to stay. It's right in the heart of downtown Toronto. Everything is within walking distance and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
