If you're looking for a little fun, you've come to the right place. We have regular Saturday night BBQ's (free!) and great Halloween Fancy dress and Christmas Parties.
The Planet Traveler is located in the heart of Kensington Market, which is full of hip little shops and restaurants and some very colourful and fun markets. The Festival of lights (a pagan festival celebrating the winter solstice) takes place on the 21st of December in Kensington and features some spectacular fire performances and sounds. During the summer, the last Sunday of each month there is Pedestrian Sundays where the market is closed to traffic and the streets fill with music, street performers, games and great food stands.
If you happen to get bored (unlikely) here are some other things you can do near by ...
* Take a stroll around little Italy and enjoy a cappuccino or a traditional wood fired pizza.
* Visit the Hockey hall of Fame.
* Scale the CN tower ... One of Canada’s wonder of the world.
* Take a ferry to Toronto's Islands and cycle around and laze under a shady tree for a while.
* Shop and Dine on trendy Queen Street.
* Go watch the baseball, basketball or hockey all within 15-20min walk
* 5min from the fashion, entertainment and shopping districts
* Take the street car to High Park or the Beaches and relax for the day
