Liked: the boss isn't honest. We had to wait for the room because it wasn't ready. We were 3 in a very little room. The rom had no window.

Liked: the price for what you get is very reasonable. it has a great location in the heart of Chinatown. Although the kitchen is not very clean, it is fully equipped. the staff is not really friendly and don't speak English. I would say as long as you only sleep there, this place is fine!

Liked: It is located in the busy town area yet it has the quietness & privacy of a country home. The surrounding is safe & people are friendly & polite. The ‘travelers’ who were staying in the hostel came from all over the world. They were decent & friendly. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend to my friends & other travelers

Liked: Nothing. After one nights stay and being ripped off on the total amount paid (charged taxes on top of a price that did not include the deposit already paid) we demanded a refund and had to haggle for the extra 2 nights money back only receiving 75% of a total refund. Avoid this place at all costs if you care about cleanliness and honesty. It is a joke.

Liked: I didn't like the accomoodation at all ! Very dirty everywhere. The kitchen was definitely not fully equipped and those stuff that was available I would never ever use. The only positive point is the location.

Liked: It was great for the rate. You get what you pay for! One small room with a cable TV in a darn good location for a cheap rate! Not bad even though it's all in a shabby city being Toronto!!

Liked: Great location in Chinatown, close to downtown and major attractions as Toronto's city centre is relatively small. Friendly manager, pretty clean rooms and bathrooms although it'd be nice to have it cleaned every few days. TV and wi fi is great. Friendly people staying in this hostel-in-a-house who are long term stayers.

Liked: It is a nice place to stay for a couple of days, especially if you are a budget traveler. The owner is very nice and told me a lot of information, such as the cheapest casino bus ticket to Niagara Falls, although I couldn't take that one as they did not allow luggages. The phone service is great here, very cheap, even for international calls. The location is also very good. I did my tour all by walking.

Liked: The only thing that I like may be the oven and fridge =.= The bed assesories are not clean and the bathroom is intolerably cramped!!

Liked: We didn't really know what to expect when we booked a private room for only 14 dollars! It doesn't have many frills, but it is an awesome hostel! Location, location, location. It is withing walking distance of everything that we wanted to do. Two blocks away from Ontario Art Gallery, only a 15 minute walk to the CN tower. Near all the best restaurants and bakeries. It's not at all sketchy, in fact it feels very welcoming. We will definitely stay here again, next time we visit! Thanks Chinatown Travelers Home!

Liked: We had a simple and inexpensive room to ourselves in a great part of the city. The hosts could not speak much English but we managed well enough and they were very helpful.

Liked: The room was very small and had a very low ceiling, the hallway was even worse (my brother could not stand up straight and he is not that tall). There was no window, and there were hairs on the floor. The location is okay (in the middle of Chinatown), though quite a walk from the city center. I'd rather have a room with a normal ceiling than one with a fridge (there is usually one in the common kitchen anyway). If you're taller than 1.70 m, this is not the place for you.

Liked: Good location, and very helpful and nice staff.Room was quite clean and tidy but the bathroom was not good. bad smell in it. Kitchen was also a bit dirty. But overall the hostel is nice.
