Customer reviewThe custodian is very friendly, the Location is good for a swapper as it is near the swap centre. Private rooms availible. Not for everyone as it basically an apartment with 5 rooms, in the middle of chinatown. make sure to have a cell or a phone card (theres a pay phone in dragon city) as you have phone the custodion to get in first but get keys then a come and go as you please. its located on dundas street just of spadina. hard enough tof ind if you not famnilliar with the city. Not that clean but safe near town and cheap. |

Sue BramhallIts nice to have your own room and they are clean with good beds and bedding, excellent wifi access as well. The bathrooms are abit grotty but if you can look past that, its a convenient place to stay i stayed here twice. I wouldnt cook here either but there is a Tim Hortens one block away which is very convenient for eating. Its well located in Chinatown and easy to get around Toronto from here. |

Customer reviewThis place is at 525 Dundas Street WEST. Google Maps wrongly puts it at Dundas Street EAST. It's right in the heart of Chinatown and on the third level of the second building from the intersection of Dundas Street West and Spadina Avenue (the first, prominent building at the intersection is Dragon City). The staircase to go up to the inn is on the left-hand side of the building, next to a VIetnamese pho restaurant. The inn has a very small and discreet sign on the awning of the building and it is easy to miss. When you first arrive, you have to dial the phone number on the sign and the live-in custodian will come down to lead you up and get you checked in. It's therefore best to have a cellphone with you. Once you get the keys, you can come in and out as you please. As previous guests have noted, it's quiet, in a good location, surrounded by 24-hour cheap eating places (the live-in custodian can give you her personal recommendations), and value for money. It has a kitchen and provides free Internet access via a computer workstation in the lounge area and a wireless network. The only thing below par is the cleanliness of the two shared bathrooms, particularly the toilet bowls. |

Customer reviewIt was quite close to the central of Toronto and the staff was really helpfull. The shared washrooms were not cleaned during my stay so in the end they became quite dirty due to the many different people using them. |

Nickie haywoodThe hostel was quite and friendly - the staff member was very helpful. Its a small hostel but set in a great location. Not many other backpackers to meet but very good value for money. A little difficult to find - its on WEST dundas street and has no sign on the hostel so you have to use street numbers. |
