Disliked: no A/C, and there is a very loud patio party that goes on all night.

Disliked: It's too humid inside the rooms. The smell is therefore bad. The place is in general not clean.

Liked: Kitchen is huge. Not that I used but for those who wanna use it's great.

Disliked: It's far from downtown and the street is very sketchy.

Liked: The area it's in is great. Lots of artists, hippies, vintage shops, oriental markets and goods, lots of cheap oriental food.

Disliked: HAT STREET IS REALLY REALLY BUSY WITH BARS AND NOISY ALL NIGHT, even on a Thursday evening. and there's NO AIR CONDITIONING, and TONS of mold in the carpets. It's pretty much a last resort or cheapest place to crash for an emergency night. The hallways reaked of puke and their was gunky hairballs in the not-cold minifridge.

Disliked: Private lockers would be a good idea, I would have liked to be able to leave my computer at the hostel instead of dragging it around the city

Liked: This hostel was nothing it promised before hand. Part of the showers and bathrooms were under construction. In the showers tiles were loosen and smell of mould was very strong. Also in the room smell of mould was quite strong and as a construction engineer I wouldn't recommend anyone to sleep here. And when I arrived to the property I didn't get the free parking I was promised before. I had to also pay some extra money for the room and I didn't even understood why.

Liked: Excellent location, quite dingy...dirty sheets, floors, bathrooms were out of order and grimy.

Liked: overall it wasn't awful, but i overheard someone asking a staff member the best way to get to the airport and he couldn't answer her. usually hostel staff are knowledgeable about that sort of thing.also, this may or may not have been the hostel where i was bitten by bedbugs.
