cinema was a nice touch, place was warm in (literally and in atmosphere) and very welcoming with obviously keen to help staff-makes all the difference.Possibly one of the nicest hostels ive stayed in-had everything plus charm and character

it was nice to be there not thet I am a party person but there was for every body anoff to do. near the interesting lokations and they where indeed silent after 23.00 oçlock

cheap accomodation for staying almost in downtown toronto. less hygiene and loudness till midnight were negative.

All the above i loved, it was my first time in a hostel and i will never ever want anything else anymore. It was so easy to make friends, to talk to people and to participate in the events. I was sceptic because i am nearl 45 y/o and afraid not to be accepted... but i am all over that now!! I loved it, the staff was great.. the guests too.. when you want alone time that is possible too. A real home away from home!! They spoiled me there for the rest of my trip! The hostel in Ny was not even close and the hotel in Washington DC made me long back to the Canadiana!! Thanks for making my trip so special!! The tour to the Falls was well taken care of, it all seems so organized at the Canadian without it being to clean or cold! Don't get me wrong, i love how everything is kept clean.. never had to wait for a shower nor wahroom and it was always clean!!

the kitchen was big and there was a lot of fridge space however it seemed to always be full of food.

Atmoshpere and facilities were great. My room was next to the telephone and internet which meant there was often a lot of noise but to be expected.

My stay was really brief so I didn't get a chance to make the most of it. However, it struck me as the kind of place I would have liked to stay longer as there were so many people milling about and I think it would have been particularly easy to meet people and have some fun times. I also quite liked the fact that the hostel took up the entire street so it was almost like a mini community rather than just another place to stay!

Quite clean, room is enough to put ur luggage. location is good, only a few blocks from CN tower, also near by st.andrew st, so that u can go by TTC or on foot.
