Liked: Living over a bar got tiring very quickly. The room was small and dingy with a tiny window so smelled. The female showers on my floor were not working so the entire floor was sharing one shower in a mixed washroom - not something I feel very comfortable doing. The toilets were often blocked for long periods - it did not seem as if staff checked this often. I found it hard to meet people because of their work policy, so many of the residents are long term as they have a job at the hostel - frustrating when you are a traveller. The staff members were nice and there was lots of common areas. The hostel appears to be slowly rennovating which would be nice as, while it's not gross, it's a bit scummy/outdated.

Liked: loud, dirty, no working shower, no privacy (bathroom doors were open to hallways), breakfast was measly (2 small pancakes and instant coffee powder)

Liked: fun place, but very dirty and unsafe for belongings. the small dorms are good though as you get to know and trust the people in your room

Liked: Great Location was the main plus for this hostel. It was a bit smelly and in a rather poor condition. Didn't like the fact that the lockers wern't free. Hardly any toilets or showers, considering how many guests. There also wasn't much on in the hostel, but then again it was Oct so probably out of season. The moose tour to the falls was amazing though, and met some cool people on that!
