Liked: The location is perfect - less than 5 minutes to the main streets of Old Quebec, next to many nice cafes and restaurants, and close to several bus lines. The hostel is also one of the cleanest hostels I've ever stayed at, and with all the services such as the kitchen, TV room, pub, and ice skate rentals, I would recommend this hostel very very highly.

Disliked: I can't name a single thing I disliked about the hostel.

Liked: By far one of the best hostels I have stayed at. Staff was amazing, everything was clean, and it was only a 10-15 minute walk from many of the old town attractions. I would stay there again.

Liked: Good location, right next to the carnival. Nice big kitchen.

Disliked: I don't know why, but I just didn't really like this hostel. I guess if I would go to Quebec City again I'd try a different hostel.

Liked: dorms are nice, there is plenty of room. comfortable beds. bathrooms are very clean, good showers. big kitchen if you cook for yourself. the breakfast is really good. plenty of computers, the wifi has good strength. comfy TV room. friendly staff and cheap outings.

Disliked: having to walk to the third floor to get to my dorm (unavoidable however). not all the staff are as friendly as each other. having to pay to use the computers (it is cheap though).

Liked: I stayed in a 4 beded room with breakfast included, is ok if you don´t mindsleeping in the same room with strangers. There is cupboard provided but not big enough for your luggage and you need to bring along your own padlock. The hostel is near to St. Jean street and also walking distant to rail and bus station although is quite hilly. I arrived in the evening at Quebec Airport not sure about buses to city but I took a taxi to the hostel it cost C$32.50 flat fee.

Liked: It is a vey nice clean place, quite big, but quiet and well kept, right in the area of old Québec; any place within the old city is in walking range. I really liked staying there and would definitely go there again!

Disliked: Breakfast was no big deal; but it was OK and the breakfast room was very nice and comfortable.

Liked: I think it's a nice hostel, very well located, really nice staff, absolutely clean, not expensive for Canada! :)

Disliked: The only thing maybe is that there is no oven, so you need to have that into account when you plan what to make for your dinner!

Liked: Terrific location right in the heart of the historic Vieux Quebec. The breakfast served each day was very good, quite adequate even for me, an American. The sight of dozens of fresh little yeast croissants the first morning was a real treat, and every day there were eggs, yogurt, etc.. very good!

Disliked: I only disliked that I had to leave, oh and the furniture in the parlor was kind of crappy, but I think I'd have been disillusioned if it were really nice.

Liked: very neat and clean place. Friendly staff. Nice people of different age and nationality. very central, right in the city center. Lockers in dorms, as expected. Good kitchen. Tasty breakfast with coffe, tea, milk, bagels, toast, cake, fruits, yoghurt, different types of cereals.Lovely city

Disliked: to less showers for so many people at some times, but if you take the shower at night before you go to bed, you won`t have problems getting a free shower!

Liked: The bathrooms are some of the nicest I've ever seen at a hostel. The showers have a privacy door!

Disliked: Doesn't seem to be lots of activities planned. They seem to be one of the few hostels in the old quarters and many non-typical hostelers stay at this place. The price is a bit higher than at other hostels I've stayed at but I think that is due to the location of Quebec City. It sucks that you don't get a free breakfast if you stay in a dorm with 6 or more people (but you do if you stay in a 4 person dorm or private room).

Liked: Very clean, free wifi, all you can eat breakfast with some great options (not your average jam & toast kind of breakfast). The female quad I was in was quite spacious.

Disliked: Most people seem to stay for one night only, making it hard to meet people.

Disliked: Beds in two rooms really ropey - some of party slept on floor as didn't feel safe in top bunks. Smallest quad given to room to be shared with a non group member - not really thought out Bad man on one night really arsey - ID 30 year olds No lift

Liked: It was in a good location, the staff were nice and the place had lots of planned activities and good services to offer.

Disliked: Pretty pricey for a hostel!

Liked: Location was great, good value for money. 4-bed dorm was quite comfortable.

Disliked: The noise from outside traffic and people on the street was a little loud. We had to sleep with the windows open as it was quite hot. Earplugs were handy.

Liked: O Albergue de Quebec esta muito bem localizado, esta apenas uns 900 metros da estacao de trem/onibus.

Disliked: O albergue atendeu nossa expectativa, nao temos nada contra.
