Liked: Although is not in downtown, PR is so small that you are there in 5 minutes. The WIFI and the kitchen are good as well as the rooms.

Liked: This was a very clean and friendly place to stay, it was close to town and had a very comfortable atmosphere, it was lovely.

Liked: although we only stayed one night the place struck us as very pleasant, clean and friendly. We stayed at C&N in Port Hardy and compared to the Black Rooster that place was not even worth promoting or mentioning. Way to expensive for a hostel and no helpfulness much less service there. I'd stay at the Black Rooster again when in Prince Rupert. A big thumbs up.

Liked: The peace and quiet. This is easily the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in. A lot of thought had been put into the facilities (e.g. phones in the rooms with free local calls, free detergent in the laundry, really comfortable common room, excellent kitchen.)
