Disliked: The hostel rules on the back of the doors make it sound like you're in a boarding school! I read it and thought... hmm, what AM I allowed to do?!

Liked: A place with good vibes, friendly people and nice little rooms.

Liked: it's clean and small, most of the people are similar minded (= not party people); it's central located and you get a discount at the local coffee shop; there are also pick-ups from the bus and the train I believe

Disliked: the manager of the place was sometimes a bit harsh and seemed a bit stressed out - maybe because of all the building stuff going on at the moment?? But her colleague was really nice and helpful.

Liked: Great value in PR. It's an old building..as in before soundproofing, but there are a coffee shop and great pub within 3 blocks--pizza across the street and a great lawn with gazebo and bbq. I was only there for one night in December but I would certainly go back. With all that lawn space i wonder if they have lawn darts or horseshoes....hmm

Liked: I liked everything about this property and actually extended my stay there a few extra days. This hostel provides excellent value for your money. A very well maintained property and well organized to handle the many guests it can accomodate. A great hostel experience overall.

Liked: I liked the "cozy", homely kind of feeling of the hostel created by its interior, and the helpful staff. The beds were great, and the lockers for valuables came in very handy. On the whole it's a very clean and hospitable place to stay which I would certainly recommend to anyone staying in Prince Rupert.
