At Arbor B and B in Pr. George, B.C. you can "Experience Northern B.C." at its best and still be only a 10 min. drive from UNBC, Exploration Place, Aquatic Center and down town amenities. We offer tall trees, clean country air, wildlife and relaxation in our beautifully landscaped accomodation.

We have lived in BC's Central Interior for almost 30 years and enjoy its seasons, landscape and wildlife. We are lovers of the outdoors and find the 100km of trails at our backdoor wonderful in summer, winter, spring and fall. We have traveled extensively including Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Costa Rica and Hawaii and have enjoyed the Bed and Breakfast experiences worldwide. We have also done two exciting Northern Raft trips - one on the Tatshenshini River and one on the Burnside River which flows into the Arctic Ocean. We love people and offer the same level of service, food and accommodation we have grown to appreciate in our travels.

Accommodation Information

Our Bed and Breakfast has two guest rooms: one has two twin beds/ king bed and the other room a queen bed ( both have private bathroom). Our whole B&B suite is available for families, groups, and those looking for a very private stay. The suite has exclusive use of both guest rooms, full private bathroom, guest TV room, mini-kitchen, exercise equipment, laundry access and private entrance.

Location Information

We are situated in a beautiful forest wilderness area, with many opportunities for outdoor recreation. We have over 100 km of trails at our doorstep which are wonderful in Winter or Summer. Our Bed and Breakfast is only 10 minutes from the Otway Nordic Ski area and has two downhill ski hills less than an hour away. Other outdoor activities include hiking trails, river-walking trails, local jet boat rides on the Nechako River, fishing, camping, biking, great golfing, forest industry tours ... and more! Your hosts can help you with arrangements.

The city of 81,000 is young and modern, with one of Canada's newest university (University of Northern British Columbia), many beautiful parks, wonderful restaurants, art gallery, museums, and great recreational facilities - including a theme wave pool.

Excellent Day Trip Destinations:
Northwest: 1 1/2 hours to historical Fort St. James - a circa 1800 Hudson Bay Company fur traders' post.

South: 2 hours to historical Barkerville - a circa 1890 gold rush town.

Both attractions are living museums of the Canadian experience, and are open from May through to September long weekends.

in Prince George:
While you are here, plan to visit the Prince George Railway & Forestry Museum, The Two Rivers Gallery, , The Exploration Place , and UNBC (Canada's GREEN University). Also plan to see the Historic Huble Homestead and Giscome Portage Trail. Sawmill and Pulp Mill tours can be arranged during the summer months.
