Liked: location, staff, kitchen/dining room. My only complaint is that I sprained my foot getting out of the upper bunk. There is only only one step and it is tricky.

Liked: The staff was great, friendly and helpful. When I had to take my son to the hospital in the middle of the night and needed directions the girl at the desk told me how to get there. Then when we returned even though the front desk was closed she was still there to ask how my son was and if everything was ok. In addition to the great staff I have to say that of all the hostels and hotels I have stayed in a jail cell definitely gives you the safest and securest feeling. We spent the night in a room designed to keep people in, with bars on the doors and 6" thick walls.....how can you not feel safe in there?

Liked: the fact that this was a unique oportunity to stay at a jail house with many of its many original features still intact. Very authentic. Great experience.

Liked: That is exactly a Jail! Wanna experience criminal bedroom , it would be a nice choice! But you can imagine the bedroom like .......really a jail-style bedroom!

Liked: Cleanliness was impressive. Everything I needed to know was well explained and the staff person was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. And staying in a former jail was neat! When a correction to my booking details was needed, it was done hassle-free and quickly!
