Liked: Inexpensive as a B+B, a bit more pricey as a hostel. Clean, friendly and decent location however.

Liked: Rooms are generous in size. There are lots of options for families, groups and singles. Breakfast is provided PLUS you can bring your own food and use the facilities for other meals. Very helpful and friendly management. Terrific location, good security and parking (for a fee).

Liked: The location was great ~ nice and central for everything I wanted to do. The atmosphere was comfortable and cozy ~ it looked so authentic and historical, which suited the area perfectly. Felt safe all the time (each bedroom door locks), and absolutely loved the variety of things there were to eat for breakfast. The hostess (sorry, I forgot her name) was very helpful in answering questions and offering information about where to go and where to eat and where good parking was. I really enjoyed my stay there ~ would have stayed longer if I could have, and I would definitely recommend to others coming to Ottawa.

Liked: After staying in a few hostels in Ottawa, Vancouver and Toronto I have to say this one was the best with difference. I felt like at home!!!! Clean, beautiful place, kind staff, top quality rooms, nice breakfast, good location, good fares...

Liked: The location. We were there for Winterlude, close to Confederation Park & the Rideau Canal. They also had a few pairs of skates we could use at no cost. And they fit!!!

Liked: the breakfast was REAL breakfast without that stupid plastc wrap around everything! We really enjoyed that. Marmelade out of a glass, butter as you have it at home on a plate and so on.
