Liked: Lovely couple who run the place, very welcoming and helpful. Lovely to chat to too!

Disliked: Bit far away from "Tourist Locations" but in a lovely neighbourhood and just off the main drag of actual townsite.

Liked: I like old Houses. They tell stories. People they run the place are very friendly. And I appreciate a clean and quiet place, which it is!

Disliked: The kittchen and "livingroom" are not very cosy. You don´t get a lot to see of the old beautyful house.

Liked: clean & comfortable accommodation, near the bus transition, and not noisy.

Disliked: no laundry room

Liked: We felt that the location and overall value were amazing. Charlie made our stay comfortable and welcoming. We highly recommend this hostel to other travellers, and will definitely stay at again if we are in the Niagara Falls area.

Disliked: No major dislikes, however we were not provided keys to our room to lock up our belongings. Though overall, we felt that our bags were safe.

Liked: friendliness of owner, look of it, convenience, free breakfast.

Liked: the location and the price. it's also very cosy and friendly owners and staff

Disliked: too small beds but comfortable. just know that there is only one desktop and the connexion is very slow. it's better to have your own computer.

Liked: Charlies is really nice and helpful. It's in a quiet, residential area of town but only a block from the shuttle to the falls, which is almost certainly what you're there for! Its a nice old house - friendly and relaxed vibe. They try and keep a check on who comes in (must ring doorbell) but there are no locks/keys for dorm rooms which would be nice. Breakfast included was good.

Disliked: Would be good if there were locks in individual dorm rooms. Also the clock that chimes every hour was not much fun!

Liked: It was a gorgeous house! Everyone was very nice. I felt unintimidated and welcomed.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Cool building and the owners were very accommodating and toast and banana muffins for breakfast were great

Disliked: Was a pain having no keys, entry is by doorbell only... and while you can ring him after this to open the door it wasn't ideal. also apart from the front door, security was virtually nill. No a/c was painful although fans were provided

Liked: We were in a shared room, but we still had our privacy.. And the fan! Without it, it would have been so bad!

Disliked: No air condition, but with the fan is good!

Liked: Nice building, very cosy and authentic. 20 minutes walk to the falls.

Disliked: We couldn't switch off the ventilator in the bathroom, because the switch was broken.

Liked: Nice place! An old family house own by a man and his son. They speak French and English and are very friendly. Homemade muffins for breakfast! 25 minutes walking from the Niagara Falls, it really is a good location.

Disliked: There is no way you can have a key of your room, it stays unlocked all the time

Liked: The owner was very friendly and helpful. It's located really close to the bus station which is handy if you're only heading to Niagara Falls for a night. The house was beautiful and very clean.

Disliked: It was too far from the entertainment area, I would recommend staying at a hostel closer to the Falls for longer stays. There weren't enough facilities for the amount of people staying there - only 2 showers & 3 toilets between 3 floors, considering our floor slept 12 people... The kitchen was extremely small & crowded at both breakfast & dinner times.

Liked: Everything, especially the breakfast. The location is great, even if you have to walk to go to the falls, it's really near the bus station.

Disliked: Almost nothing, the bed was just a little hard.

Liked: Clean, very conveniently located - just 5 min walk from the bus or the train station, 20 min walk to American Falls, about 50 min to the Horseshoe Falls. The breakfast was delicious: good muffins and coffee. Also it is a family run place, so it has character.

Disliked: The woman at the reception was not really attentive, but the man was very nice and helpful. .

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff made me feel right at home. Close to the train/bus station.

Disliked: A bit of a walk to the Falls, however the walk is very scenic so its not too bad.

Liked: Excellent hostel with lots of charm. Host was very helpful, friendly and curtious.

Disliked: Hostel is a 20 minute walk from the Falls - not at all bad considering the price and the fact that it's close to downtown Niagara.
