Liked: I really liked breakfast; not only for the incredible muffins (which I was told not to mention, but they were just too good not to!) but much more for the atmosphere coming with it. The breakfast itself was very good and therefore everybody got together for breakfast which made it really easy to get to know the others and plan day trips together. The staff was very nice, helpful and motivated!

Disliked: Maybe the rooms would be a bit stuffed it is fully booked but I had the whole room for myself when I was there.

Liked: The location was perfect, just 1 minute away from the main street!

Disliked: I'm so dissapointed by how the owner treated us. When we got there, he greeted us very nicely and friendly and tried to help us out to make our stay enjoyable. He suggested us to take the taxi tour arranged by them, but we already had a plan and didn't take it. Once we refused it politely, he turned unfriendly and I felt like being almost kicked out. I've never felt such unpleasant when I stay at hostels traveling around the world. I know he is a nice person, but I got really dissapointed that he didn't respect our plan. If you would like your stay good one, just follow his advice. Overall except that was perfect.

Liked: The staff and the owner were really helpful in anything we wanted to know about Niagra. And they helped us out with things to do while we were there. Defo recommend this place.

Liked: The staff were what made my stay there a highly enjoyable one. Gen, Tre, Mao and Vicky were all very enjoyable to hang out with and Patrick was generous with advice and beer. There are multitudes of showers and toilets, meaning you are never caught short and the location is excellent - 2 minutes walk to all the attractions and 5-10 to the falls.

Disliked: The lack of laundry facilities and a distant laundromat. Patrick and Tre were kind enough to drop me off there but the walk back was rather long. Perhaps attempt to ask one of the very close (ie across the road) hotels to see if they will allow you to use their facilities.

Liked: Patrick and his staff make you feel at home the second you walk through the door. When he found out that I would be missing breakfast the next morning because I was checking out early for a race, he made sure leave some food out for me and other racers. The bathrooms were also recently renovated and looked great!

Disliked: There's only one bathroom (2 sinks then a separate room with shower/bath, sink, and toilet) for each wing/hallway, which could mean that if the rooms were all full you could end up waiting for awhile to use the facilities. However, you could always use the other bathrooms in the other hallways, so it's not that serious.

Liked: The owner, Pat, was great. He was friendly and helpful, and his breakfast muffins were delicious. He really cares about his guests and making sure they enjoy their stay. The hostel has a nice common area, free movies, breakfast, towels, and wifi, so that is a great plus. The bathrooms are clean, and the location is fantastic and very convenient to everything. I would definitely recommend people to stay here.

Disliked: This is a good place to stay. I have no complaints.

Liked: This hostel was great! Friendly staff and owner who know the best places to go and when to do them.. They're also so friendly that we spent the whole evening chatting by the office. It's a nice small hostel and really easy to socialise with other hostellers - in part down to the owner, Patricks, initial introduction to everyone staying at the hostel. The breakfast was great too!

Disliked: Nothing! It was clean and simple, just what I wanted.

Disliked: It's older but that's expected when it comes to a hostel. No biggie.

Liked: The staff gave very good advices about what to do in the area (for short and long stay) and about what to avoid as a tourist. The hotel is very well located, close enough to the falls but far enough of the attractions (no noise from this area). A little car park is available behind the hotel.

Disliked: No laundry inside or close to the hotel.

Disliked: LOTS ... we got bitten by bed bugs and spiders!!! Patrick the manager had told us how they got rid of bed bugs...but after our 2 night stay both my partner and I have them!!! Patrick was nice although he was so confident about his hostel being all that and it wasn't!

Liked: Patrick and Michelle are great and make you feel welcome the moment you walk through the door. If you are lucky as I was they will even give you a free upgrade to a private room! As much as possible they put like minded people together and advise where best to go on any day/night of the week.The location is EXCELLENT for Niagara Falls, only 10 minutes walk away. The highest rated hostel on this site is at least 30 minutes walk away!And as mentioned by previous residents the muffins at breakfast really are good!
