Liked: The staff, Patrick and Steve, were amazingly friendly and informative. They made it great and introduced me to everyone they could to make me feel more comfortable and at home. I've stayed at a lot of hostels and have never had this kind of honest and friendly service. They alone made it worth the stay.

Liked: The hostel was very friendly and sociable. The owners got to know you by name... even though we only stayed there for three nights. There was the opportunity to chat with other people staying at the hostel or chill out by yourself if you preferred. Any questions about the area could be answered by staff - also giving reccomendations for activites to do or ones to avoid!

Liked: Patrick, the owner is a really friendly and helpful guy. He showed us what to see and do around Niagara Falls and we chat about a lot of things.Breakfast provided and was great.

Liked: The owners are really friendly and informative. The rooms are clean and nice. The location of the hostel is just perfect. It is few minutes away from the falls. If given an opportunity I would surely like to return and stay at Lyons!

Liked: Our train was like 4 hourse late (I do NOT recommend to use Amtrak!!!) und we got a nice call, to make sure we were all right, felt like people actually cared about us (which we didn't feel like after a 13 hours train ride!).we got all the information we needed about the area, free internet even tip about how to get rid of sunburn! the rooms are clean and there was no curfew, it also was really close to the falls, you could just walk back an get a sweater (or get rid of it)we had an amazing stay!!!

Liked: The staff were FANTASTIC. They helped me out with everything! I would recommend to anyone. There is just so much to do in Niagara Falls and the staff here made me realise that. There was indoor skydiving, niagara falls stuff like maid of the mist, behind the falls, rapid walk, niagara glenn, fireworks on friday and sunday, jet boat ride, wine tours, an awesome magic show and that doesnt even start on the famous clifton hill road!! there is just so much to do id recommend at least 3 days here!!!! The staff at the hostel helped me book anything i wanted, helped me with any questions, they were just fantastic!!!!!

Liked: Everything. The location is next to none, the price is fantastic, clean, organised and THE BEST owners. Patrick and Shelly really go above and beyond, with discounts, great conversation and tips. They run a great hostel , and I would stay here again if I come back to Niagara Falls. Family friendly, for singles, for couples, basically for everyone.

Liked: The friendly and nice host gave us lots of help. He offered another room with queen+twin beds withou extra charge when he found us with two little ones. And he introduced a magic show right across the street which was so good one. Thanks for the great help.

Liked: The important thing at this hostel is the friendly people who live. All are very co operative and very accommodating. It is very near to the falls and other amenities. Fine internet, happy surroundings and a cool atmosphere... WHat else can you expect......
