In the Hostel Shilohworks you will experience the life of modern day pioneers.
We live on a hobby farm located on 25 acres of rugged land and surrounded by beautiful mountain peaks.
Rooms:
There are 5 rooms with single and double beds, two shared bathroom, 2 full kitchens, BBQ, laundry facility, TV (Video and DVD only), small lounge
area, patio, and a fire pit with a BBQ.
Location:
A 20 minute drive North /East from Pemberton BC, and a 50 minute drive to Whistler BC.
Bus transportation is available from Vancouver to Pemberton.
Things to do in summer:
Hiking, mountain biking, (trails right from the house), horseback riding, canoeing (canoe rental available), swimming, fishing, (Gates Lake is 5 minutes drive, Anderson Lake 20 minutes drive, and Birkenhead lake 30 minutes drive. Ping Pong and Badminton.
Winter:
X-country skiing (no set tracks), ski touring, Heli skiing in Poole Creek and Pemberton Area, ski in Whistler 50 min drive, Ice skating on Gates lake, snowmobiling(bring your own snowmobile), snowshoeing
We welcome groups and families.
Bed rates:
One person - $22 gst included
Private room - $44 gst included
3 days stay - 5% discount
5 days or more - 10% discount
Hostel rules
Hours:
Office hours are between 6:00am and 11:00 pm.
Check out time is 11:00am
Hostel has 24 hours access.
If you have a reservation with us, your bed will be held until 6:00pm.
Payment:
It is usual to pay upon arrival. You can pay cash
All prices are fixed per person per night with bed sheets and GST included.
Noise:
Please refrain from late night noise which could disturb other guests. Late night music and electronics should be played on headphones.
Smoking:
No smoking inside the building; Only outside in designated area!!
Fires:
Only in fire pit, and with supervision of hostel staff. No fires during July until September, due to high fire hazard in the area!!
Meals:
Tea and coffee is included in your overnight price. There is a kitchen where you can prepare meals. We have excellent drinking water.
Kitchen:
No cooking between 1:00 am and 4:00 am.
