Armel NicolasThe staff were wonderful: eventhough hostelbookers.com had superbly screwed up by letting us book while the inn was 100% full! The inn's staff arranged a tiny but reasonably confy room for us, were very friendly, and we almost didn't get to pay anything! The inn looks wonderful, some lucky people even get to sleep in caravan in the central courtyard. |

Arjan DonkerbroekI liked the area outside to sit, the free internet and the beds at ground level. The beds in the basement were much too closely packed, too little area to place your stuff. |

Customer reviewThe "private rooms" are adorable little cabooses parked in the courtyard, the location is beautiful, it is great being able to use the internet for free and cook your own meals. |

Jenny HsiaoA really beautiful hostel- one of the nicest & coziest I've ever stayed in. All the furniture looks as if they had been hand-carved out of wood and lovingly worn soft. The sleeping areas are small but cozy, & there are large common areas. There are also adorable little cabins available in the courtyard. Fittingly the hostel is located in Old Montreal, a cobblestone part of town that is similarly charming. |

Kevin McCormackThe staff were very friendly and hospitable. The character of the hostel really is in the feel of old Monteral. Lovely. |

Thomas FIscherThe rustic character of the dorm area and the private "caravan" rooms in the courtyard...The free internet and long-distance calling, the free lite breakfast 'till 11AM, the Metro-accessible location in Old Montreal, etc...I just wish I had a lower bunk this last time because I like to come in late and not be a bother to people when digging through my stuff/climbing into bed...All things considered, this is a 1st rate place... |
