Liked: Everything! Gabe was an amazing tour guide on Friday and Saturday morning, and the entire staff was friendly and helpful. We all loved the bar and food available downstairs, as well as the quality of the kitchen. Not to mention the location was perfect and so close to the metro! We would all definitely go back.

Disliked: The lighting in the 10 bed hostel could have been brighter. Besides that, nothing!

Liked: I loved this place, everybody is so friendly! everything is clean and it is in a very good place, just a few steps to the metro station and downtown! I would extremly recomend it...Actually I'm staying more days!

Liked: Funky, modern decor. Very helpful and friendly staff and an onsite bar/cafe.

Disliked: Bathrooms are ensuite, so you might need to wait to use the toilet while one of your roommates shower.

Liked: It was close to a subway and there was some stuff nearby. I really loved the staff. The bar was a nice place to hang out as well.

Disliked: I honestly was a bit terrified of the bunk beds - they were a bit shaky - just your basic ikea metal beds, and climbing in and out of the top one was an adventure. Otherwise, everything was great! I was a little nervous walking from the subway to the hostel on the first night and actually walked right by it despite the large illuminated sign, but once I got acquainted with the area I realized it's a good and safe location.

Liked: The location was perfect and the activities which they offer are very varied.

Disliked: One bathroom between 10 girls was interesting! A lot of waiting.

Liked: AWESOME HOSTEL WITH FRIENDLY STAFF, SO MUCH INFO PROVIDED ABOUT MONTREAL, GREAT KITCHEN AND ATMOSPHERE! IT WAS GREAT TO SEE AN ICE HOCKEY GAME!!!

Disliked: EVERYTHING WAS WONDERFUL ABOUT THIS HOSTEL

Liked: There was always something on. The walking tours were great and the staff super friendly. There are also pub crawls on and even though I didn't go to montreal expecting to go out, I ended up going out every night! I had such a great time that I extended my stay for an extra three nights. The common room/kitchen area is a great place to meet other travellers.

Disliked: You had to pay to use the computers, though that seems to be pretty standard fare in North America. The blankets weren't warm enough so I had to sleep with a jumper on. The door to our room was also very squeaky so it made a really loud noise every time someone came in or out, which was a bit annoying in the early mornings and late at night when trying to sleep.

Liked: It was clean, the staff was friendly, the bar downstairs was nice as well.

Disliked: We had a private room, but the cost was pretty high for the services offered. We could have stayed in a hotel with a larger room for only $20 more.

Liked: Everyone was very friendly and nice. It was kept very clean. The staff are very accommodating and professional. I would recommend to anyone looking for a hostel in downtown montreal, as I moved here after having a bad experience at another hostel closeby.

Disliked: - I enjoyed this hostel, I don't have anything that I didn't dislike. -

Liked: Clean, fun and super friendly staff. It's great to see find a hostel where they let you play flip-cup in the bar. And CLOSE to the Bell Centre. Go Habs go.

Disliked: Slight mix up with the booking, but no big deal. They cleared it up.

Liked: Fantastic location! Lots to do near here. Big kitchen and common room area. Very clean, great bathrooms and good vending machines.

Disliked: Staff were very slow and didn't seem to know what to do. All seemed to be unfocused and very new as they didn't know how to complete reservations or sales. Were not helpful and couldn't give advice on things to do!
