The HI Montreal Hostel is dedicated to making you discover the best of the city! We’re not only centrally located in downtown Montreal, close to irish pubs, supermarkets, microbreweries, restaurants, a pool hall and even an all-you-can-eat Indian buffet, but we also organise several daily activities, such as pub crawls, urban walks, skating and much more!

Dedicated to making your discover the best of Montreal, the HI Montreal Hostel is a melting-pot of everything travellers are looking for in a hostel.

* Please note that the rates quoted on this page do not include the sales taxes and are based on the reduced rate for HI card holders. An extra of 5$ per night for the dormitory or an extra of 10$ per private room per night will be charged upon arrival for the non-members.

Directions from the Trudeau International Airport

Montréal is served by one airport: Montreal-Trudeau International Airport, 22 km (14 miles) west of downtown.

Taxicabs: serve this airport and the current rate is about $38. Prices are explicitly posted inside all taxicabs.

747 Express buses: Featuring nine stops in each direction, the 747 service will be provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a year between Montréal's central bus terminal (Berri-UQAM metro station) and Montréal-Trudeau airport. There is a stop few steps away from the hostel at the corner of Guy and René-Lévesque (coming from the airport) and at the corner of Bishop and René-Lévesque (in direction to the airport).
Buses on the 747 route are equipped with three luggage racks for the convenience of travelers. The $7 fare is payable in cash aboard the bus.

From the Montreal's central bus terminal (Berri-UQAM metro station):
Take the subway (direction Côte-Vertu) and get off at Lucien-L'Allier station. Go right on Lucien-L'Allier St. to Overdale Ave. (1 block) and turn left to the hostel.

From the train station:
From the Via Rail train station, take the subway (direction Côte-Vertu), get off at Lucien L'Allier station and follow the above directions to the hostel.
