Liked: It was close to the trains and only a short walk to the funky Mont Royal Park area. Great staff who didnt mind that we didnt speak a word of french :) Free internet and heaps of bathrooms..no line ups for the shower!

Liked: Awesome location (!!) and very friendly & helpful staff. A warning if you`re coming from the airport though: Don`t take a cab if you can avoid it! It costs $50. The shuttle then cab/ metro is a much better option.

Liked: We stayed at th Maeva annexe and we had a fabulous time. The owners were really hospitable and helped us with everything--They actually waited up for us until midnight when we arrived!! Now, if that is not 'going the distance' and then some, I don't know what is!! Thank you Jorge & Staff!!

Liked: It was very central and they were helpfull. We felt like home. We were in the second hostel in the 3990 Hubert St and we had own bathroom inside the room, the only think was the bathroom needed be reformed and a little more of cleanness, but we told them and I think they will have in mind. I recomend it without doubt.

Liked: Great hostel, I was in a two bed dorm with another girl. Staff were really friendly. I arrived 8am, they let me have a shower and breakfast even though I hadnt checked in. Awesome group of people.

Liked: staff where great booked a taxi for us and made fresh coffee. Really great atmosphere, one of the best hostels I've stayed in, only downsid is a metro ride from the heart of montreal, plus side its close to mont royal

Liked: There's no eating in the rooms, so everyone gets together in the kitchen to eat and drink; it's a great way to talk to and meet other travelers. Many travelers staying for a few days also seemed to buy their own food to make in the kitchen; cookery and utensils are available for communal use so long as you wash it. The staff were extremely nice, and there were plenty of blankets so even when it snowed outside, it was very warm inside. The bathrooms were some of the nicest bathrooms I've seen at a hostel. Although there's 24 hour showers, you're asked not to shower after 10:30pm because of quiet hours. The friendly staff even let me keep my luggage at the hostel after checkout until my trip out of Montreal later that evening.I didn't, however, like the regulars who were a bit creepy but benign. And the pillows are really crinkly.

Liked: The location WAS GREAT...its about 5 mins walking from some of the best restaurants and also close to the subway...its near to the liveliness of the montreal night life as well...so the Location was the absolute best and then were the friendliness and helpfullness of the staff...
