Customer reviewMe and two friends booked a 3 bed private. We were put in a cool room with two bunk beds and a couch. The hostel was clean. The bathroom was rarely crowded. The location on Mont Royal Ave was great. The area is very French--and trendy. It's similar to Greenwich Village in NYC. The staff was friendly and helpful, though it was sometimes hard to understand them with their heavy French accents and not-so-great English (but of course that is all part of the charm). Good to know: linen is included; towels and breakfast are not included. |

Alex MorashLocation, location, location. Located on a great street and very close to the metro station. I was in Montreal for the 2008 F1 Grand Prix and the Globetrotter hostel made a perfect affordable base camp to visit the races and party downtown. We didn't spend much time at the hostel, more or less just to sleep and store our belongings. The hostel had a security door which made it safe to return late at night after partying downtown. |
