Liked: great location though walking distance to everything and metro too.

Disliked: only 2 elements on the stove work and the oven is broken is a bit annoying when everyone is trying to cook at the same time.

Liked: Very friendly hostel, and small which makes it really nice. It helps that it's run by one person who knows the city well, not a series of people. Good location too.

Disliked: The hostel seems to be in the middle of a refit, but some of it seems to be falling apart at the same time. If it all gets up to the top standard it will be great.

Liked: There are not that many beds at this hostel which is nice. Free breakfast (toast, cereal, coffee, tea).

Disliked: Many people staying at this hostel are looking for permanent housing in the Montreal area. This created a different kind of atmosphere. The number of bathrooms and the cleanliness of them can be improved.

Liked: Good clean place to stay, near Crescent street which has all the nightlife. Met some cool people here. Very close to the metro so the city is very accesible, and i've been told it's only 20/30 mins walk to the old city. Breakfast supplied for free (bowl of cereal + 2 slices of bread). Lockers are provided, made of wood not metal but secure enough - entry to the hostel is by coded lock so anyone can't just walk in.

Liked: Staff is AWESOME! It's really cheap place in really good location! And there is lockers in rooms, for free! And also free wi-fi.

Disliked: There is not plenty of room or activites to do, it's only a place where you sleep. Showers aren't so good, there is no good water pressure.

Liked: great location. right in uni district with loads of bars and restaurants, 5 mins from park and 1 min from metro stop. really helpful having lockers in the rooms. good kitchen ,free cereal and toast for breakfast, free internet and nice lounge to chill out in.

Disliked: staff were nice enough but not particularly friendly. No activities or trips offered. also there were a lot of students staying longer term on placements etc. although nice people, it doesnt make for a great atmosphere for meeting other travellers.

Liked: If you want a quiet place to stay with spacious dorms and friendly staff this is the place. Excellent value for money especially when a free breakfast is thrown in and an unlimited supply of tea and coffee!

Liked: I liked the hostel better than Montreal city itself. Very friendly staff and other travelers.

Disliked: Not enough bathrooms or toilets as they are in the same room. They are in partial reconstruction. Not as a complaint but as a warning.

Liked: Small, not too crowded.

Disliked: Not enough bathrooms. Getting to the toilet in the morning can be a hassle as the toilets are in the same room as the showers.

Liked: They offer various kinds of cereals and some other foods for breakfast. Paul who was host was nice. We could leave our suitcases in his office on the last day for free. The hostel was pretty close to downtown of Montreal. It was clean and safe as well.

Liked: Location were exactly what we wanted. Secure building, nice sleeping arrangments, They met all our needs. Relaxing atmosphere.

Liked: I really liked the location. In the heart of Downtown Montreal, a block from a metro stop, and close to fun restuarants and clubs. I really enjoyed my stay.

Disliked: The bathrooms were a little dirty, and there was construction going on. Also, the lockers were a bit small for bigger luggage, but otherwise ok.

Liked: This is a fantastic hostel - Great place to meet people - small enough to be really good fun but not like a party hostel. Great facilities - nice kitchen and living room, internet, washing machine, breakfast and big TV, and the staff are friendly too.

Disliked: There is little to dislike except perhaps the price, but that is Canada. Although it is central, near a lot of bars and a metro station, it is far from the old town, perhaps a 45min walk.

Liked: Quite like a students house for being next to Concordia University. Not really a travellers atmosphere. Good facilities.

Disliked: Only two bathrooms and one computer for the whole hostel. Not many places to chill out.
