Gateway to the Atlantic Provinces, Halifax is a great base from which to explore the rest of the Maritimes. Cape Breton Island, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador and New Brunswick are easily accessible from Halifax by planes, trains & automobiles!
Founded in 1749, to establish British strength in North America, Halifax has much history and culture, including a cool summer Jazz Festival, a funky Busker's Festival, the International Tattoo, and the Titanic Graveyard.
The hostel is close to the city's best music and pubs, and some of the best seafood you'll enjoy in Canada. The weekend Farmer's Market, Asian food shops and various large grocery stores are all within a short walk's distance, and your HI membership card will get you discounts at several nearby restaurants.

If you do not have an HI membership, you can always purchase one from our reception at check in and start saving that night! We also ask for $5 cash room key deposit.
We have 3 parking spots underground. Parking spots are given first come first serve basis and rate is $8/night. Parking key deposit is $25 cash.

Our dormitory rooms are male and female, with 6 to 8 beds per room.
Several private rooms are also available, some with en-suite washroom! They book quickly so give us a call or email! (You will not find them book-able online!)
Our maximum length of stay is 14 nights. We make an exception for this in winter when we have monthly deals to offer.
The hostel is within walking distance to all that Halifax has to offer.
Pier 21, Citadel Hill, Museums, pubs, restaurants, Public Gardens, Point Pleasant, Universities, Halifax Water-Front boardwalk, Metro Centre for concerts.
