Our mission statement is to provide quality accommodation to the independent traveller in a fun, safe, and social environment.

Come and stay with us in Cumberland on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. Our hostel is located in the historic Tarbells building, a heritage edifice from the late 1800s.

Our goal at the Riding Fool Hostel is to provide quality accommodation to the independent traveller in a fun, safe, and social environment. There's always a lot of activities to take part in whether it's summer or winter. So come join the fun!

Full knowledge of surrounding area including trails of Cumberland, Forbidden Plateau, and Mt. Washington (24 minutes to lodge)

Accommodation Information

The Riding Fool Hostel offers a 6-person men's dorm, a 6-person women's dorm, and a 12-person co-ed dorm.

All rooms have storage lockers (please bring your own lock) and each bed is equipped with a reading light.
