Liked: Excellent location in Courtenay--in the middle of downtown, as well as next to the river and a park. Easy to find. Parking not a problem. Nice bathrooms.

Disliked: Common area cellar-like. A few seemingly problematic long-term lodgers. No freezer in kitchen.

Liked: the hostel is highly recomendable as it offers great community rooms and huge, clean, nice kitchen areas. The service and facilities are great. We would like to have a Cona Hosten in every city!

Liked: It was very conveniently located and the staff was very friendly and had many helpful suggestions for me to plan a great vacation!I met some very fun people during my stay and look forward to going back again one day.
